Dr. Lessell Martiny "Marty" Bray is the Chief Technology and Information Officer for the Forsyth County Schools. Prior to his work in Forsyth County he was a professor at the University of West Georgia, California State University Fullerton, and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Combined with his experience in North Carolina he has a total of 25 years of experience in a number of educational settings. He has a Ph.D. in Instructional Systems Technology from Indiana University and educational degrees from Appalachian State University. He is the author/co-author of several books, book chapters, and journal articles on the uses of technology in education especially as it relates to issues of diversity.
