Employers across the country and in many sectors are increasingly interested in sponsoring programs that help employees gain skills and credentials. Competency-based programs can be especially relevant to the needs of the employer while helping working students develop valuable skills that are immediately applicable in the workplace. College for America at Southern New Hampshire University uses workforce research and engages employer partners to help develop and sponsor its competency-based degree programs.
