Universities need to be able to share apps, learning tools, data and digital asset collections across their campus environments. The HED community is working to realize the vision of a sharable "Network" of independent resource "Creation Hubs" with their own "App Stores" that speak a standardized App Sharing Language from IMS Global called CASA (Community App Sharing Architecture). CASA lets institutions share mobile friendly and native app resources in a peer to peer network, allowing users to leverage a curated and trusted set of cloud services or campus-based resources at their fingertips available.
